大致来讲,也就四步:过滤沉淀-厌氧发酵-固体物分解-粪液排放。

一般来说,我们把一个大的池子分成三格或四格,三格叫三级化粪池,四格叫四级化粪池。
Generally speaking, we divide a large pool into three or four

level septic tanks.
污水首先由进水口排到第一格,在第一格里比重较大的固体物及寄生虫卵等物沉淀下来,利用池水中的厌氧细菌开始初步的发酵分解,经第一格处理过的污水可分为三层:糊状粪皮、比较澄清的粪液、和固体状的粪渣。

经过初步分解的粪液流入第二格,而漂浮在上面的粪皮和沉积在下面的粪渣则留在第一格继续发酵。在第二格中,粪液继续发酵分解,虫卵继续下沉,病原体逐渐死亡,粪液得到进一步无害化,产生的粪皮和粪渣厚度比第一格显著减少。
The initial decomposition of the fecal fluid into the second grid,
while the floating stool and the deposited dung on the bottom remain in
the first lattice and continue to ferment. In the second lattice, the
fecal fluid continued to be decomposed, the eggs continued to sink, the
pathogen died gradually, the fecal fluid was further harmless, and the
thickness of fecal and fecal residue decreased significantly than the
first.
流入第三格的粪液一般已经腐熟,其中病菌和寄生虫卵已基本杀灭。第三格功能主要起暂时储存沉淀已基本无害的粪液作用,最后,经过再次沉淀的粪液通过排水管流入市政管网。
The fecal fluid that flows into the third compartment is generally
decomposed, and the pathogen and parasite eggs have been basically
destroyed. The third compartment function mainly deals with the
temporary storage of sediment which is basically harmless. Finally, the
fecal fluid which is once again precipitated through the drainage pipe
flows into the municipal pipe network.
四级化粪池则比三级化粪池多了一道发酵腐化的工序,工艺更细化,水质更干净。
The four level septic tank has a more fermentation process than the
three level septic tank. The process is more detailed and the water
quality is cleaner.
